In 2024, tax payments by VESCO Group of Companies in Ukraine to the budgets of all levels amounted to UAH 266.8 million. Of these, UAH 136.6 million went to the state budget and UAH 130.2 million to local budgets. This is an important contribution to the support of the economy of Ukraine and frontline regions, in particular, to the state’s ability to allocate funds to the Armed Forces to ensure the country’s defense capability.

The amount of tax payments increased by 71% compared to the previous year due to the start of mining operations and increased sales of finished products, investment in expanding the group’s product portfolio and, despite the difficult times of the war, higher wages for employees.

In the structure of taxes and fees in 2024, the amount of land tax is significant — UAH 82.6 million paid to the local budgets of the communities in the region, where the production facilities of VESCO Group of Companies in Ukraine are located.

PJSC Vesco — the key enterprise of the group — is included in the first list of taxpayers with a high level of voluntary compliance with tax legislation. The relevant decision was made by the State Tax Service of Ukraine (STS) after assessing the company’s compliance with the requirements and criteria of the law (in particular, the level of tax payments, the level of payroll, etc.). The list is based on the results of the fourth quarter of 2023 and three quarters of 2024.

Yevhenii Tsymarman, CEO of VESCO Group of Companies in Ukraine:

We always strive to be an example of honest partnership and conscientious fulfillment of obligations to the state and society. In the context of active hostilities, which continue to limit our capacity utilization, we managed to increase our production performance and tax payments compared to 2023 and remain a budget-forming business for a number of communities in the eastern region. The inclusion of the group’s main enterprise in the list of “white” taxpayers is a confirmation of our transparency and responsible approach to doing business. Today, as Ukraine goes through difficult trials of war, business transparency is a strategic responsibility. This is our contribution to the country’s stability, support for the economy and its future recovery”.

Among the largest payments were personal income tax — UAH 47.3 million and unified social tax — UAH 42.9 million, up 28% and 30%, respectively, compared to 2023.
